YTU Racing participates in Formula Student races, the most prestigious engineering race of undergraduate level attended by world-renowned universities. In the races held in 2016, YTU Racing became the first Turkish team to complete all stages on the track and continued to achieve the highest score. The team ranked as one of the top 50 teams in Europe in the 2019 Formula Student Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles Category. The team representing Turkey will take part in races across Europe with their electric vehicle to be manufactured for the first time this year as well as their vehicle to be built in the internal combustion engine category.
Sponsored by eurotec® as of the 2020 season, the team started to work for the seventh vehicle to be built in the internal combustion engine category and the YTR07-e electric vehicle that they will manufacture for the first time.
