The WRAS Certificate

The WRAS certificate is a certificate of conformity issued for materials in contact with drinking water after testing the said materials in accordance with BS6920 to ensure that they have no adverse impact on water pollution and public health. The WRAS testing analyzes the odor, taste, appearance and cytotoxicity of water and the reproduction of microorganisms contained in water as well as whether metal ions pass to the water.

In England, any products in contact with water must be approved by WRAS. Although not compulsory in European countries, it has become a certificate required by them to be featured in the products they will use day after day. eurotec® attaches great importance to human health and safety at all times. With this awareness, it continues to be sensitive about getting WRAS certificate in necessary applications.
