eurotec® Signature on Renault PMR 2025 List: Strengthening Our Presence with an Expanding Product Portfolio
eurotec® Signature on Renault PMR 2025 List: Strengthening Our Presence with an Expanding Product Portfolio
We now have a larger number of approved products at the Renault Materials Panel thanks to the materials that we formulated for use in applications specific to electric vehicles, such as connectors, brackets, busbars, relays, battery packs, e-motors, as well as in under-hood applications (e.g. cooling and fuel systems, powertrain and manifold components) and outdoor-proof aesthetic mirror & door handle parts and in-car console & panel applications.
Our PA6, PA66 and PP material solutions with several glass fiber ratios for functional under-hood parts that require high mechanical, thermal and temperature resistance and/or hydrolysis stability in the long term have taken their place at the panel. Our outdoor-proof PBT+PET material, which is resistant to abrasion and in Alliance Black color, is featured in the panel for use in exterior body mirror and door handle parts. Our PA6, PA66, PPA, PP, PBT, PESU and PC/ABS solutions are ready for use, enabled by their specific properties based on the intended use, including but not limited to V0-rated fire resistance for applications in electric vehicles, such as cooling systems, high-voltage connectors, electric motor, and battery systems, and high CTI (Comparative Tracking Index), and dimensional and hydrolysis stability under climatic conditions, and orange color strength.
Additionally, our PA6, PA6.6 and PP solution with the recycled raw materials content and low carbon footprint provided as part of sustainability efforts at eurotec® have been formulated in accordance with Renault's material spec requirements. Our PC/ABS material specifically developed for use in interior body applications, such as consoles and instrument panels, with its mechanical properties along with its painting and adhesion performance delivers a low carbon footprint thanks to its 65% recycled raw material content made from post-consumer waste. Our PBT/PET material with 25% recycled raw material content made from post-consumer waste is ready for use as a green material alternative in applications using glass fiber reinforced PBT and PBT/PET.
